Episode 8, Chapter 1
"Bad Hair Day"

* * *
[Inside the Cherry Hill Temple, Bay looked intensely into a mirror, staring at herself. She slowly lifted her hand and pushed the bangs that covered her right eye to the side of her head, hoping to move it out of the way. She slowly moved he hand away smiling that the hair finally stayed up... then the bang fell back down in front of her eye.]

Bay [trying again]
Crap!

Rei [looking in the door as she walked by]
Bay!

Bay [quickly turned away from the mirror]
Who?

Rei
What are you doing?

Bay
Well I was just...

Rei
Didn't you get a crew cut a few days ago?

Bay [nodded]
Yeah, I did.

Rei [walking into the room]
Are you wearing a wig?

Bay
No, it grew back.

Rei
No, really... [she tugged at Bay's hair, and pulled back, surprised] It IS real.

Bay [rubbing her head]
I told you so.

Rei
That's not normal.

Bay
Yeah, tell me about it.

Rei [looking carefully at Bay's head]
Why doesn't it grow any longer?

Bay
You're asking me?

Rei
Of course! Who else would know?

Bay [blowing her bangs away from her eye]
It seems to slow down after it gets this long.

Rei
Have you seen a doctor?

Bay [stood back paused for a minute]
I haven't seen one since I became a Scout.

Rei
Well if you're going to live here, you better see one soon.

Bay
Why?

Rei
Grandpa has this thing about healthy people living here.

[Serena was eating a cookie at a local store with Rei and Amy]

Serena
And it grew back in a few days?

Rei
It's like she never got it cut.

Serena
So that's why she's been wearing that hat all the time.

Amy
It could be a medical condition.

Rei
Well, she went off to see the doctor a little while ago.

Serena
What if it's contagious?

Rei [glared at Serena]
What? So your meatballs could be even bigger then they are now.

Bay [walking up to the group, wearing a hat with her hair tucked into it.]
Hey, what's going on?

Rei
Nothing.

Serena
How was the doctor?

Bay
Well, he could have used a little salt.

[Everyone look confused at Bay]

Amy
Salt?

Bay
Come on. Haven't you guys ever heard a joke before?

[Everyone still looked confused]

Bay
Oh, nevermind! He said I was in perfect health.

Serena
And the hair?

Bay [looked at Rei, surprised]
You told?

Rei
Well, you never told me it was a secret.

Bay [looking back at the others]
It stopped growing so fast. The doctor didn't really know what to make of it. He told me to come back if I had a problem with it.

Serena
No more crew cuts for you then?

Bay
I guess not.

Serena
It made you look boyish anyway.

Bay [sarcastically]
Yeah, last thing I would want. [Everyone looked at her, wondering if she was joking again. She shrugged her shoulders] Nevermind!

[In the Negaverse, Queen Beryl looked into her crystal ball]

Beryl [suddenly]
Malachite!

[Malachite appeared before her]

Malachite
Yes, my Queen?

Beryl
You have given up the search for Sailor Sun?

Malachite
Yes, my Queen, as you said, it was a pointless task since she has joined the Sailor Scouts.

Beryl
A pity, but we must look to regaining the energy we lost.

Malachite
I have already started making preparations to gather more energy.

Beryl
Good. I expect results.

Malachite
Yes, my Queen.

[In a local barbershop, a lady cleaned up her last customer's hair off the floor. Malachite and a monster appeared in front and walked through the door]

Barber
Sorry, we're closed. [She saw the hairy monster and started to scream]

[In Serena's house, Serena's Mother called up to her]

Serena's Mother
Serena!

Serena [looking downstairs]
What is it mom?

Mother
They're having a special at the barber's. You should get your hair cut.

Serena
But, Mom! I like my hair the way it is.

Mother
Serena, you need to get your bangs trimmed. Anyway, better to get it done now than later, when they're too long.

Serena
MMMMMMMMMMMoooooooooommmmmmmmmmm!

Mother
Move it, Young Lady [she pointed for the door]!

* * *
[Serena grumpily walked down the street towards the barbershop]

Serena [mumbling]
Stupid discounts, got to get my hair cut...

Mina [from behind her, with Amy]
Hey, Serena!

Serena [turning around]
Mina? What are you doing here?

Mina
I heard about this sale, and thought I'd give them a try.

Amy
Yes, me too.

Serena
You guys WANT to get your hair cut?

Mina
Well, a trim.

Amy
Yes, I've been meaning to get one for a while.

Serena
My mom made me go.

Mina [trying to be cheerful, pulled her hand]
How about we all get it done together?

Serena [smiling]
Ok.

[The three continued to walk until they reached the store. Inside, a small line was formed, waiting for their turn.]

Amy
I've never seen it so busy.

Mina
Well, what do you expect on a discount?

Lady [approaching the three girls]
Hello, you want your hair cut?

Mina
Yes.

Lady
Well if you'll come with me, we'll set you up.

[After a short wait at the end of the line, Serena, Mina and Amy sat down in chairs, side by side.]

Mina
My, that was a quick line.

Serena [talking to the barber]
You better not screw up anything!

Mina [surprised at how rude Serena was]
Serena!

Serena
I spend a lot of time on my hair!

[The barbers undid Serena's ponytails and Mina's bow]

Barber
Just relax and listen to the music.

[All three laid back and relaxed, soon they all fell asleep]

[Serena woke up and looked at Mina. She saw that Mina was just waking up]

Mina
Where are we?

Serena [looking at Mina's hair, style with two balls of hair on each side of her head, ponytails from each]
At least Rei won't be calling me "Meatball Head" all the time!

Mina [looking at Serena]
I'm not surprised, with hair like Amy's.

[Serena quickly felt her head, feeling no ponytails or balls of hair.]

Serena [yelling]
What happened to my hair?

Amy [from behind Serena starting to get up]
What's all the commotion?

[Both girls looked at Amy]

Amy
What's wrong?

Mina
You're wearing my bow!

[Amy felt her hair, going down the middle of her back, she pulls a little of it forward, looking at her long blue hair.]

Serena
What's going on?

Mina
You two need to find a better barber.

[Both pointed at Mina's head, as she went up to feel her hairstyle]

Mina [shocked]
AAAH! I have meatballs!

Serena
HEY!

Amy
What happened too us?

Mina
I don't know!

[The three girls sees a shadowy figure moving forward with the others.]

Amy
Who's that?

Mina
I can't make him out.

Serena [looking, then realizing who it was]
It's Tuxedo Mask!

[Tuxedo Mask continued to walk up to the three, and knelt in front of Mina]

Tuxedo Mask
Mina, I love you. Please, will you marry me?

Mina [looking lovingly at Tuxedo Mask]
Yes!

Serena [staring at Tuxedo Mask]
Darien! [She glimpsed over to Amy and back at Mina with Tuxedo, and then quickly back at Amy realizing that Alex was kneeling beside her]

Amy
Yes, of course I'll marry you Alex!

Serena [yelling]
Amy? Alex? [She looked back at the other two] Mina? Darien?

Melvin [appearing from behind her]
Will you marry me, Serena?

Serena [screaming]
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* * *

[Mina shook a sleeping Serena]

Mina
Serena? Wake up!

Serena [almost jumping out of the barber's chair]
You can't marry him!

Mina
Serena, you had a bad dream!

[Serena quickly looked at Mina and Amy, who had their regular hair styles, then she quickly checked her own, to see hers was the same.]

Amy
Serena, are you alright?

Serena
It was all a dream! All of it?

Mina
It must have been pretty bad to get you this worked up.

Serena [still frantic]
I'll say. Your two were getting married!

[A bolt with both Mina and Amy]

Mina
I think we were just insulted Amy.

Amy
I hope to get married some day.

Mina
Me too. [looks to Amy] Let's go.

[They both stormed to the door, and tried to pull it open.]

Mina
It's stuck!

Lady
Where do you think your going?

Mina
We want to leave.

Lady
But your not done.

Amy
Yes we are!

Lady
You cannot leave!

Mina
Why not?

Lady
Because I need your energy! [The lady's hair quickly grows and wraps around both Mina and Amy.]

Mina [wrapped]
It's a Nega-Dweeb!

[From behind the lady, who transformed back into a furry longhaired monster]

Sailor Moon
Stop what you're doing!

Mina & Amy
Sailor Moon!

Sailor Moon
I am Sailor Moon, people come to get their hair cut and become beautiful. You take that away, and on behalf of the moon, I cannot allow this! I am Sailor Moon, and you're moon dust!

Monster
Sailor Moon?! Malachite will reward me greatly if I capture you!

[She drops the almost drained Mina and Amy]

* * *

[Bay strolls down the street. More or less looking through the windows thinking to herself. She walks by the barbershop and passes it... then she stops, backs up, and looks in again. She spots Sailor Moon and the monster.]

Bay [grabbing her locket]
Oh, just great... Sun Power!

* * *
[Back in the shop, Sailor Moon once again narrowly avoids being taken out by the monster's hair attacks.]

Sailor Moon
Stop that!

Monster
Can't get a moment to stop me can you?

[The monster's hair once again almost shoots from her head growing in an attempt to hit Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon once again gets out of the way, and the hair misses.]

Monster
You can't evade me for- [she notices her hair's stuck. She looks and sees Sailor Sun holding on tightly to the long bit of hair she used to hit Sailor Moon] Let go!

Sailor Sun
What? I think I'd like a little tug-of-war. [She sharply pulls at the hair, pulling the monster, making her fall down]

Monster [On the ground]
OW!

Sailor Moon
Sailor Sun?

Sailor Sun
Well, I'm not the Easter Bunny!

Monster [using more of her hair to attack Sailor Sun]
Let go of my HAIR!

[Sailor Sun jumps out of the way, still hanging on to the hair she has, and when she lands she quickly wraps the hair around the base of one of the barber chairs]

Monster
I can't get up!

Sailor Sun
Moon... hurry up!

Sailor Moon
Ok... [She takes off her tiara] Moon Tiara Magic! [She throws it, just as Sun lets go of the monster's hair]

Monster
Free... [sees the tiara] NOOOOOO! [The monster's hit by Moon's attack and she disappears into a pile of dust]

Sailor Moon
I got her!

Sailor Sun
Finally!

Mina [starting to wake up]
What happened?

Amy
Why are we laying on the floor?

Sailor Moon [happily]
Guys! You're ok!

Mina [seeing Sailor Moon and Sun]
Did we miss something? Last thing I remember is wanting to leave.

* * *
[Serena, Bay, and the other Scouts sat on Rei's patio]

Lita
I'm glad I didn't go there.

Bay
Serena's just lucky I came by.

Serena
I had everything under control.

Rei
Sure you did, Meatball Head.

Serena
Maybe we should go back and get you your own set of meatballs, Rei!

Bay
Girls… Come on…

Lita
Bay? It's best if you don't get in their way… [she smirks]

Bay [watching Serena and Rei argue]
Yeah... I see what you mean.
